activity in Dominica, giant sperm whales reside in the our waters
and can be seen year-round.
Other species such as humpbacks, Dwarf Sperm, Short-finned Pilot,
Pygmy Sperm, False Killer, Beaked and the occasional Arca, are
often seen on our Expeditions.
Opoperators generally have a 90% success rate in seeing whales or
dolphins.
Boats are equipped with hydro - phones which are used to track the
movement of the whales.
Whale and domphin safaris depart at 2 pm, Saturdays, Sundays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays.
