Layou River Gorge Hike

The Layou River Gorge Hike is undoubtedly one of the most, adventurous and exciting trips that we offer. We drive to the village of Bells, from where we begin our hike, scrabble and swim down the awesome Layou River.

7 hours of battling with boulders and the river, encapsulated in nature's bosom, shaded by tropical rain forest and towering cliffs. The world outside will seem as remote as it could possible get.

The cry of a bird or the rushing sound of the river, will seem more akin to your ears than the sound of human voices.

Only persons who are in good physical conditions and are competent swimmers should attempt this hike. KHATTS TOURS will not confirm reservations for this activity until we have met with and spoken to the persons intending to do it.

Much of the walking will be done in water, wear shoes for that purpose Pack a light lunch and carry it in a water proof container, please use a knapsack for all the things you will be carrying.
